![]() TRAILHEAD TO CAMP | NORTH PALISADE | STARLIGHT | THUNDERBOLT | CAMP TO TRAILHEAD ![]() ![]() We got an early start (about 5AM) so we'd have plenty of time to make it up N. Palisade, make the traverse to Starlight, and get back to camp before dark. ![]() The sun rose shortly after we started hiking. ![]() Getting close to our first break. That's North Palisade and Starlight in front of us. We'll be heading up the snow chute on the left side of the picture to the U-notch. ![]() A few minutes later the sun hit the peaks. ![]() This was to our right looking towards Thunderbolt (far left). ![]() Getting closer. ![]() Almost to the berschrund. Luckily there was a nice little snow bridge for us to cross on. ![]() We passed another climber here as he was waiting for his partner.
